Wendy Spence & Lynda van Dam established Business Health Services Ltd in 1989 to provide a comprehensive range of Occupational Health services to meet the needs of the New Zealand’s workplace and workforce. Our clients range from Public Companies, Government Departments to Private Businesses from varying industry fields.

At Business Health Services our passion and expertise is Occupational Health and Safety and with 27 year of experience and an experienced and skilled team of Occupational Health professionals we bring innovative and best practice to your business.
By partnering with your business and utilising our Occupational Health programmes and Services, we will identify and manage your health risks at work and ensure your business and staff are healthy and safe.

Whether you need a simple one off assessment on a health and safety issue, assistance to set up an Occupational health programme, coaching in manual handling or to sort out your injury prevention and fit for work needs, we can help you.
Business Health Services employs nine staff, seven staff with minimum of undergraduate level of qualifications up to Master level. In addition Business Health Services has an associate relationship with noted Occupational Physicians, OT’s, and Physio’s and Safety professionals to ensure you get the best advice possible.

Business Health Services has established a regular and effective liaison with the major regulatory players in the Health and safety arena such as Worksafe and Accident Compensation.
